Welcome Home Kirby!
Not only do we love to hear back from our blog readers but we love it when they send us new puppy announcements. Back on March 25th, I answered some of their New Puppy Questions and they have great news to share with us!
Kirby came home today (3/29). She is adjusting to her new home in NYC and we just can't get enough of her cuteness. Thanks again for all your help. We LOVE your blog.
~Nikki, Matt & Kirby
Please welcome Nikki and Matt to the world of Labrador Retrievers as Kirby is their first Lab puppy!
Major congrats to the new family!

What a cutie! I am 2 years into being a first time lab owner. The best advice I can give is that a tired lab is a good lab. LOTS of excercise along with the LOTS of discipline and lovin'. The Dog Whisperer show is a huge help with learning how to be a pack leader which I needed to learn since Chester is also my first dominant dog. All that to say it is extremely worth the effort. I wouldn't trade him for the world.
Glad Dakota's ailment is only temporary and with the small meals it will hopefully help her tender stomach. How to turn down those pitiful eyes is extremely difficult. Only knowing "Mom knows best" gets you thru it.
What a sweet pup!
My Lab mix baby is 1 year old today! Happy Birthday Bella!
Blessings

YAY! Being a new mom is so amazing and lots of hard work. Good thing I work from home so I can give her all the love and attention she needs. Any suggestions on training is greatly appreciated. I have the Monks of New Skete DVDs and book. The Monks are incredible and also give great advice for the metro pup since metro pups can't go outside until they are 16 weeks - YIKES!!!
Happy Birthday Bella. I am SO SO happy to hear Dakota is recovering...phew (that was scarry)!!
