Dakota is our pride and joy and we are so happy to have her home.

Unfortunately, she has vomited twice in the last week - last night being the second time. We aren't worry but I will post an update on her condition later this morning with details. Prayers are still welcome - she has a long road ahead of her.Shannonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03793818450443222492noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20358620.post-26300582957188857292009-03-29T19:30:00.000-05:002009-03-29T19:30:00.000-05:00YAY!!! Two summers ago, I had to take him to the vet so they could make him throw up because he had eaten mosquito larvae killer (a bacterium). He was fine, but my nerves weren't. There is a picture of him on my blog today if you want to see the Hoov-a-dor yourself:)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20358620.post-76424227448733985152009-03-27T14:32:00.000-05:002009-03-27T14:32:00.000-05:00Hurrah!! Xrays showed significant irritation around the area where the stomach empties to the intestine, but no foreign bodies. I had a suspicion that the foreign body that past through was a piece of felt off a felt dog toy I had bought her. I caught her ingesting a long strand of felt. It was not too long after that she started getting sick.

Like you said, you have to watch these labs ALL THE TIME!

Looks like Dakota is taking comfort from her sister. Hope her recovery is swift and uneventful.Bethhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10829592762104759566noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20358620.post-5083502940067894402009-03-27T12:41:00.000-05:002009-03-27T12:41:00.000-05:00Congrats on the non-cancer diagnosis!!
